Huglet started with a simple idea: comfort you can hold onto.
We design every Huglet around one principle — even, gentle weight. The same kind of steady, grounding pressure you would feel from a real hug, in something you can carry from the sofa to the bed to a hotel room.
How they are made
The weight is sewn into internal chambers rather than left loose, so it settles evenly across a lap, chest or shoulders instead of bunching into one corner. That is the whole trick, and it is why a Huglet feels calming rather than simply heavy.
Materials vary by character, and we list the exact fill, weight and care instructions on every product page rather than making one blanket claim here. Our Warm Hug range works differently again — those are filled with millet grain and dried French lavender, and are designed to be warmed in a microwave or chilled in a freezer.
What we will not claim
A Huglet is a comfort product, not a medical device. We make no clinical claims about treating anxiety, autism, ADHD or insomnia. Plenty of people find weighted items soothing as part of a wider wind-down routine, and that is the honest version of what we are offering.
